Position Summary
This landscape designer will prepare quality landscape
designs, construction documents, and estimates for
presentations. This associate interacts with the design
team, clients, and consultants, and production department
on a regular basis. This position is at the center of our
processes and systems.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Produces quality landscape design with supporting materials such as sketches, elevations, rendered plans, etc.
- Creates quality and unique designs within budget parameters and on a timely basis.
- Provides accurate estimates on a consistent basis.
- Initiates and completes a site analysis of project(s) with accuracy and on a timely basis.
- Prepares project packages of required drawings and estimates.
- Communicates with Landscape Consultants as required to update project status.
- Appropriately follows and maintains design process and standards, including planting standards and AutoCAD standards.
- Have solid grasp of knowledge of; landscape design principals, plant material, drainage, grading, and construction techniques.
- Uses appropriate survey equipment on various client sites.
- Provides accurate, professional plans and details for production department and sub-contractors in an efficient and effective manner.
- Obtain price/bids from appropriate sub-contractors.
- Identifies zoning and building codes, permit requirements, etc. related to project.
- Consistently evaluates work and determine if further steps are needed to meet internal and external client expectations.
- Maintain high standard of quality of all work performed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Landscape Designer.
- Demonstrate exemplary knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, applicable construction materials and coordination in design.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD or hand drafting.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of site engineering and use of survey equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including taking direction and constructive feedback from team members, as well as providing feedback to other team members.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with coworkers and clients on a consistent basis.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates a commitment to self development and continuing education.

Position Summary
This individual will manage high-end residential projects
with internal departments and external vendors. He/she will
also establish and maintain client relationships. This
associate interacts with the design team, production
department, and administrative support on a regular basis.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage details and tasks for all landscape projects.
- Conduct initial client meeting and design presentations.
- Managing communication between design department and production department, including consulting administrator, accounting, and other team members.
- Works with the design team to ensure accurate and timely process flow.
- Assists with the project installation to ensure end result will exceed client expectations.
- Communi cate any status or internal project issues and/or concerns to the designers and production department in a timely manner.
- Assists in the scheduling of jobs with the Production Department, other Landscape Consultants, and the Sub-contractors.
- Review all Final Invoices.
- Coordinates with the design team to develop unique, professional presentation package.
- Ensures efficient process and information flow for workload requirements.
- Consistently evaluate work and determine if further steps are needed to meet internal and external client expectations.
- Maintain high standard of quality of all work performed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or other relevant field required.
- At least 2 years professional experience required, preferably in a project management or landscape architecture role.
- Demonstrate knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, applicable construction materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including taking/giving direction and constructive feedback from team members, as well as providing feedback to other team members.
- Minimize non-productive time and fill slow periods with activities that will enable you to prepare to meet the future needs of internal and external clients.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with external clients and Lifestyle associates on a consistent basis.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of general computer functions and Microsoft Office programs.
